Click Open iolo AntiVirus to open the Home page. This window allows you to view and configure antivirus settings, view antivirus history, update software, and get help using the application.

To cancel a snooze before the entered time runs out, click Cancel Real-Time Protection snooze. (More on the snooze function.)

Click Shut down iolo AntiVirus to disable the program and remove the icon from your system tray.

 

When the antivirus is shut down, you cannot access the functions offered by the icon, which includes opening the Home page to configure settings.

 

When selected, a confirmation window displays; click Yes to continue. To have the program enable itself the next time you start or restart your computer, select the Start iolo AntiVirus when my computer starts check box.

Note: Shutting down iolo AntiVirus makes your computer vulnerable to attack.

You can restart iolo AntiVirus in several ways:

• Start the program from the Windows Start menu, in the iolo AntiVirus program group you set during installation. (The default installation location is Start > Programs > iolo AntiVirus > Start iolo AntiVirus.)

• If you elected to create a desktop icon during installation, double-click on the iolo AntiVirus icon.

• If you selected the Start iolo AntiVirus when my computer starts check box when you shut the program down, iolo AntiVirus will restart the next time you start or restart your computer.

This option displays for evaluation customers.
